Job title: Front Desk/Sales Associate
Position Type: Full-Time
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented Front Desk/Sales Associate to join our team at GYFitness Training and Wellness Center. This position is crucial in providing excellent customer service and ensuring smooth operations at the front desk. You will be responsible for managing member inquiries, assisting with sales and membership processes, and maintaining an organized and inviting atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet members and visitors in a warm and friendly manner, providing excellent customer service at all times.
- Manage check-ins, sign-ups, and member account inquiries efficiently and accurately.
- Promote and sell gym memberships and other services to potential and existing members.
- Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate records for all sales and membership activities.
- Assist in resolving any member complaints or issues promptly, escalating to management when necessary.
- Maintain an organized and clean front desk and common areas, ensuring a welcoming environment for all.
- Assist with inventory management, including ordering, receiving, and organizing gym merchandise and supplies.
- Track and maintain accurate inventory records, alerting management to any discrepancies or needs for replenishment.
- Contribute to community engagement efforts by assisting in the planning and execution of promotions and events.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless communication and operations throughout the facility.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in fitness or related fields are a plus.
- Previous experience in customer service, retail, or sales, preferably in a fitness or gym environment.
- Previous experience in customer service, retail, sales in supplement or similar environments
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications and gym management software.
- Ability to lift and move gym equipment and merchandise when necessary.
- Passion for fitness and leading a healthy lifestyle.
- Ability to work flexible hours.
- Night time and weekend shifts highly preferred.
Pay: From $15.00 per hour
